Five decades of classic McLaren racers will be on display, including honoree Jochen Mass' 1977 McLaren M23 Formula One racer as a part of the “Cars of Jochen Mass” class. Winners announced in Factory Five design competition

The brief called for a compact, two-seat roadster that shared a drivetrain with the Subaru Impreza. The car would feature a bespoke space-frame chassis, but the mechanicals would be lifted from the Impreza to allow the car to sell for under $15,000.

Wed, 23 May 2012With a hugely impressive 263 entries in total, the judges of the 2012 Car Design News – Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Competition had an unenviable task ahead of them when they gathered at the firm's head quarters in Russelsheim, Germany on Monday 21 May. Their challenge was to shortlist a number of students to progress to the next stage of the competition. The winner will be announced at the 2012 Paris motorshow.
