2012 Scion xD to start at $16,075

Prices for the 2012 Scion xD will start at $16,075, Toyota said on Wednesday. For the standard five-speed manual, that’s a $235 increase from final price of the 2011 model. The sticker increases to $16,875 for the four-speed automatic version, which is also $235 more expensive than its 2011 counterpart.

Toyota has revealed its Corolla Furia Concept at the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The carmaker's compact sedan concept - which measures in at 4,620mm long, 1,805mm wide and 1,425mm high sitting on a wheelbase of 2,700mm - previews design cues expected to feature on the next-generation Corolla. Opel has released pictures of the new Corsa, which will make its debut in July at the British Motor Show. Sharing its platform with the Fiat Grande Punto, styling is closer to the larger Astra with dynamic cab-forward proportions. Aided by the strong chin, an additional pane in the side-glass also enables a more forward-reaching profile - as chief designer Niels Loeb said "this is just what we wanted the coupe-like three-door Corsa to be." Inside, the IP neatly evolves themes from the outgoing model, with cues also shared with the new Antara SUV.
