This auction is part of a series of sales I will be making on behalf of my mother in the next few months as she liquidates my late father's collections. He ran a local auto repair shop for the last 22 years and had amassed a considerable quantity of collectibles...mostly classic auto and racing related, but since he was also a lifer in the military, there are some military items too. Dad was a believer that a collection should be enjoyed and not hidden away in plastic on a shelf and as such you will see that some of the items could use a good cleaning, may not contain the original packaging and may even be missing a few parts (but will be priced accordingly). I will describe each item as accurately as I can, but everything is being sold As -Is. Most of the items will be models, diecasts, books and movies...but there will also be some tools, repair manuals and specialty car parts. Stay tuned...

Volkswagen T-Roc SUV concept to rock 2014 Geneva Motor Show

Thu, 27 Feb 2014

T-Roc may sound like the name of a superhero dinosaur (if such a thing existed), but it’s actually Volkswagen’s latest SUV concept, set to make its debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in March. This explains why so far we only have these arty sketches, rather than actual photos. According to Volkswagen, the T-Roc "offers a glimpse at future Volkswagen SUVs", which basically means the Tiguan.
