Peugeot 308 R Concept stars at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show

Peugeot’s hot new 308 R Concept hatchback has the new mk7 Volkswagen Golf GTI square in its sights here at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The regular 308 hatch is also making its debut, showing quality Peugeot hope will rival the likes of Volkswagen and Audi, but with the rather racy looking 308 R, the French firm is after the performance crown, too. Lotus Evora Roadster at Geneva – probably

The tease for the Lotus Evora Roadster Lotus are promising to ‘Blow the roof off Geneva’ in a cryptic tease for the Geneva Motor Show. We’re assuming that means the Lotus Evora Roadster. It’s three years since we reported Lotus future plans for the Evora, with a S/C version, auto ‘box and the Lotus Evora Roadster expected at some point.

Dakar Rally 2012 Day 2 update

The first major motorsports event of the year, the 2012 Dakar Rally, began its two-week trek across South America on Jan. 1. Four hundred and sixty-five vehicles (171 cars, 185 motorcycles, 33 quads and 76 trucks) with drivers representing 50 nationalities will attempt to cover 9,000 kilometers (more than 5,500 miles) over 14 days throughout Argentina, Chile, and Peru.
