Volvo S60 Teaser Images
Mon, 24 Nov 2008Volvo is the latest car maker to play tease with concept shots of their new cars, this time with the Volvo S60 for 2010. Tue, 10 Mar 2009General Motors' deteriorating financial situation has caused the company to delay one of the most advanced engines that it has ever designed, a 4.5-liter diesel for light-duty trucks. "We have to make tough decisions right now," GM Powertrain spokeswoman Susan Garavaglia said. Truck enthusiasts were eagerly awaiting the engine, which would have started production next fall at GM's plant in Tonawanda, N.Y.
2013 Australian Motor Show axed

Falling attendance figures played a big part in taking the decision, as did what is seen as a lack of manufacturer support. The Volkswagen Group's decision not to attend may well have acted as the final nail in the coffin along with Hyundai's hesitancy despite initial support.
