Lincoln MKC – it’s an upmarket Ford Kuga: 2013 Detroit Auto Show
Wed, 16 Jan 2013Ford has revealed the Lincoln MKC Concept at the Detroit Auto Show, a titivated upmarket offering based on the Ford Kuga. Despite strong sales on the other side of the Pond, Ford is struggling in Europe – just like every other mainstream car brand – and they’re probably ruing the day they decided to unravel their Premier Auto Group, selling off Aston Martin, Volvo and – their biggest mistake – Jaguar Land Rover. Which means that if Ford want to get back in to the – potentially very profitable – realm of premium cars again they’re stuck with doing it with one of their ‘brands’.
Reliant 'Rugged Robin' is ready for battle

Bernard Reeves of East Sussex in the United Kingdom told the Daily Mail that he got fed up with Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson's ridicule of the Robin, most notably in a film containing footage of Clarkson rolling a Robin multiple times before pushing it into a canal. There are high hopes for the new Peugeot 208 GTi, with Peugeot desperately hoping a performance halo for the 208 range will evoke memories of the terrific 205 GTi and filter down in to much bigger sales for more prosaic 208s. So to keep interest in the public debut of the 208 GTi next week, Peugeot has been busy cobbling together a promo video to show the new GTi blatting around – in and out of focus – so we don’t have chance to forget the 208 GTI is on its way.
