Lexus Fashion Workshop designers make car parts fashionable

Lexus is moving from the road to the runway with a new ad campaign set to appear in Vogue magazine. As part of the Lexus Fashion Workshop, the carmaker challenged four fashion designers to create wearable pieces using materials from a dismantled Lexus CT hybrid. The challenge is "elevating the notion of recycling to an art form," according to Lexus, which says the CT hybrid is 90 percent recyclable.

Volkswagen NCC concept

Volkswagen's New Compact Coupe (NCC) concept previews the next Jetta, but with two-doors rather than four. The car's front - minus the hybrid-style closed grille - pretty much represents the new face of the sixth-generation production Jetta due on sale this November, and its syling is informed by the latest Polo as well as some recent concepts from the German brand. Honda NSX supercar (2013) testing on video

The new Honda NSX isn’t just motor show fantasy: it’s headed for production, and here’s the first image of the hybrid supercar in testing. This very NSX prototype will lap the Mid-Ohio Sport Car Course racing circuit in Ohio, USA, ahead of the Honda Indy 200 IndyCar Series race on 4 August 2013. It’ll be the first time the new NSX has turned a wheel in anger in view of the public, as it gears up for a showroom debut in 2015.
