It’s now become apparent that Eterniti will rebody the Porsche Cayenne 4x4 at its London factory to an even higher spec – they say – than when it emerges from Stuttgart. It all started with the Lexus LF-Gh concept at Geneva in the spring – the new GS in Concept guise – since when our spy photographers have managed to grab shots of a disguised GS out ploughing round the Nurburgring and we’ve had a Lexus boss musing the likelihood of a Lexus GS Coupe – and an official announcement that the GS 350 will arrive at Pebble. Now we get one of the oxymorons of car PR in the internet age – the ‘Official’ Spy Video.
Duesenbergs sweep honors at Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance
Mon, 14 Mar 2011Two of the 29 Duesenbergs on display at the 16th Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance took the Best in Show honors on Sunday at the gathering in north Florida. The Amelia Island concours awards two top honors, one for sporting cars and one for elegance. Harry Yeaggy's 1935 Duesenberg SJ Speedster, also known as the “Mormon Meteor,” won Best in Show Concours De Sport, while Helen and Jack Nethercutt's 1933 Duesenberg SJN Arlington Torpedo Sedan was awarded Best in Show Concours De Elegance.
