The white VW Tiguan tested by heat 2 winner Johnny Heat 2 seems to have been hard-fought, with the competitors using social media to get votes in. Di and Johnny, two of the most competitive of the Volkswagen Tiguan People’s Reviewers, pulled out all the stops last week, using their social networks of friends and followers to get out the vote. In the end, Johnny claimed the Group 2 crown, pulling out a victory in a back-and-forth race.

Nissan launches new Note with digital flipbook

Nissan has developed an inventive way of advertising its new Note hatchback on its Japanese website – using a digital flipbook called ‘Long scroll, Long Drive, Long Life'. The start of the flipbook sees a couple getting into the Note and as you scroll down, the car begins to weave through Tokyo roads, while information at the side of the screen tells you in detail about the car's features and performance. They’re all bolted into a C-class that’s 100kg lighter than the outgoing model, and will boast, Mercedes claims, the lowest fuel consumption in its class.
