First photo of the new Hyundai Genesis However far Hyundai has come in the UK and Europe in the last few years, they still don’t think Europe is ready for their range-topping saloon – the Hyundai Genesis. But that could be about to change with the arrival of the 2014 Hyundai Genesis, which Hyundai has started to tease with the release of the first photos of their new car ahead of a debut at the Detroit Auto Show. Looking like a slightly tamer version of the Hyundai HCD-14 Concept we saw at Detroit at the start of the year, the new Genesis gets Hyundai’s latest Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language which brings with it a new Audi-esque front grill (well, Hyundai/Kia’s design guru, Peter Schreyer, did come from Audi) as well as a sleeker, more elegant style.

Range Rover Sport ploughs into basement flat

This supercharged Range Rover Sport found itself stuck between a brick and a hard place when it crashed into a basement flat in Fitzrovia, central London. The driver, who was unhurt in this week's accident, unintentionally tested the Range Rover's off-road credentials in a freak incident, which left the 2.5-tonne SUV stuck between a house wall and some railings in the posh London street. 2013 Ford Fiesta Van Facelift arrives (+video)

Ford has given their Fiesta Van a facelift for 2013 with much the same changes the new Fiesta gets – including the Aston Martin grill. Ford has decided it’s not just the new Fiesta that’s getting a touch of Aston Martin, it’s the Fiesta Van too. So the 2013 facelift for the Fiesta Van features most of the changes the new Fiesta gets, including that Aston Martin inspired grill on the nose.
