For sale is a never used service manual for the 2010 Subaru STI engine.  These engines where basically the same over many model years, I think 2009 to present, maybe earlier.  Note this is an STI manual not a general manual for Subaru flat fours.  It was purchased at my local Subaru dealer and in a blinding flash of stupidity I ordered two (got lost in a big order) and are not returnable.  I'm trying to recoup some of my investment for the second one as I now have two (along with two chassis manuals).  It has hundreds of pages with illustrations on every page.  Check the second picture for table of contents subject matter.  No reserve and the first bid is much less than half my actual cost.  A flat rate of $10 shipping and packaging costs will be added to top bid for US destinations.  Thanks for looking.

Ford engine plant builds number 10 million

Wed, 18 Feb 2009

Ford's 90-degree, overhead-cam Modular V8 has covered a wide spectrum since it was introduced in 1991--powering luxury cars, SUVs, pickups and high-performance sports cars. A large number of those engines have come from a Ford plant in Romeo, Mich., which has now built its 10-millionth engine--a 4.6-liter V8 that is headed for a 2010 Mustang GT. The Romeo engine plant was converted from a tractor factory.

Bentley teases Arnage successor

Wed, 10 Jun 2009

Bentley is giving a glimpse of its future this morning with a teaser shot of the Arnage successor due out in 2011. Look for a public debut this summer, possibly in concept form at the Pebble Beach concours, where the British luxury maker is one of the featured companies as it marks its 90th anniversary. Details are scarce, though the teaser shows a lengthy hood, a prominent grille and big fenders--hallmarks of the Bentley line.

Concept Car of the Week: Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 Sport (1965)

Fri, 08 Feb 2013

Autodelta produced 112 Alfa Romeo TZs between 1963 and 1965. The TZ abbreviation – for Tubulare Zagato – refers to the innovative lightweight spaceframe chassis that kept the weight at an impressive 660kg and assured great performance both on the road and on the track. Out of those desirable TZs, Zagato bodied the vast majority but two of the chassis were also handed to rival carrozzerias Bertone and Pininfarina.
