The high-performance i8 will be the second BMW i car to go on sale, following the launch of the i3 electric city car which goes on sale in BMW dealers this weekend. Nissan North America said on Tuesday that it will start providing Carfax with information on safety and emissions recalls for Nissan and Infiniti vehicles. Nissan said it will share vehicle identification numbers of affected cars with the vehicle-history-reports site. Drivers can type their VIN into the site to see iwhether there are any outstanding recall campaigns.
