Toyota Hydrogen Fuel Cell breakthrough to be announced at Frankfurt Motor Show
Mon, 02 Sep 2013Toyota Hydrogen Fuel Cell breakthrough to be announced at Frankfurt Motor Show Regardless of whether you think the electric car is potentially a planet saviour or not, the idea of powering cars with hydrogen is a powerful one; the holy grail of automotive powertrains. In Toyota’s case, that means a setup similar to their hybrid cars, with a hydrogen fuel cell replacing the petrol engine.

As did last year's program, this summer also saw three engineering students from the University of Michigan (UM) join three CCS transportation design students to develop a concept car. Revolving around an 'Inside Out' theme, students conceptualized, rendered and created a concept vehicle based on a steel exoskeleton design.
