This is an original factory Honda remote that works with Honda Pilots that have the factory DVD systems.  This is NOT after market but original OEM manufacturers equipment.  Remote has been tested and works. 

I know this works with Honda Pilots from 2011 -2015 model year ( that have the factory DVD system).  This remote may also work with some Acura MDX models that have the factory DVD system as well. 

  NOTE >>>>  will not fit 2005-2010 Pilots (Model A0 is needed for the older models) 


 This unit WILL NEED NEW BATTERIES in order to work " hand held",  however just snap into place and it is ready to go   .....No Programming Required
