Performance Headers for 2011-2015 Optima/K5 2.0 and 2.4

  • Performance headers are made in Korea by Maintec.
  • 100% stainless steel construction, each header is manually welded by Maintec technicians.
  • The headers for the 2.4 will give you an increase of 5~6 horsepower, the 2.0 version will give you an increase of 4~5 horsepower. Dyno charts show the increases above.
  • To install, the 1st cat in the vertical position will have to be removed. The second cat will stay in place, and the header will go between the engine head and the 2nd cat. The header will have a bung for the 1st O2 sensor, and you may have to weld on a bung after the 2nd cat for the 2nd O2 sensor. The bung will be included. The cat must go between the 2 O2 sensors if you do not want a check engine light.
