CARS 2: The Queen & Prince Wheeliam
Sat, 30 Apr 2011Prince Wheeliam - in a Bentley Continental? It’s one of those weekends where Royal stories will abound, so it made a bit of sense – to us at least – to make mention of the Royal and London connections in the upcoming Disney Pixar sequel – CARS 2. Topically – there’s a surprise – we have a Prince Wheeliam, which appears to be Bentley Continental GT-esque (who decided that, we wonder?) and The Queen seems to be a regal Rolls Phantom with a Crown on her roof.

Fri, 15 Oct 20102012 Ford Focus ST - Video below There’s nothing quite like signposting a new car well ahead of its reveal, and Ford are taking no chances on the 2012 Ford Focus ST with some teasers ahead of the Paris Motor Show reveal and a bit of detail at Paris. Even though the 2102 Focus ST won’t be ready to roll in to showrooms and out to customers for at least a year, we do have some gen on the oily bits. For example, we know thet the Volvo 2.5 litre lump that did sterling service in the old ST is being dropped in favour of the 2.0 litre EcoBoost.
VW group design future
Mon, 23 Jun 2008By Adam Towler Motor Industry 23 June 2008 19:01 VW Group’s Design Director Walter De Silva shed light on the future direction of Volkswagen design during a lecture earlier this week at the old Fiat Lingotto factory in Turin. Extolling his own thoughts on design amid the current world – “constraints are what promotes creativity” - he described VW as being immersed in a process of defining their design language as Audi had already done to achieve the quality and diversity necessary. Audi design DNA was “understood by everyone in the company” he said, “right down to the smallest details”.
