For Sale: 2011 Ducati 848 Evo motor

Includes headers, air box, throttle bodies, injectors, clutch slave, oil cooler and hoses/thermostat and the correct ECU for the motor. Brand new Barnett clutch installed 100 miles before I swapped motors. 24000 miles on motor, excellent compression, no issues at all. It has had a power commander and tune on it since new. I pulled the belt covers and valve covers and checked condition and valve specs and everything is in great shape. I am a certified motorcycle mechanic.

I pulled this motor with zero issues, I simply wanted to put a 1198r motor in my bike, because I wanted to keep the paint scheme of my bike, as it was not offered on the 1098/1198's. Again, the bike this was removed from was Never wrecked, Never down, Ran extremely well until the day it was pulled. Many of the motors for these bikes on ebay are from totaled bikes, that have been down. buying a motor from a bike that was wrecked is taking a huge risk that the motor was starved of oil and could have issues and unseen internal damage, Not the case with this listing.

If you wanted to use this motor for a different bike or project (go kart or something) all you will need is the wiring harness, they can be found on eBay for 100$

Money woes may keep Converj from market

Mon, 19 Jan 2009

General Motors' tight finances may hold the automaker back from building a production version of the Cadillac Converj concept car. GM revealed the coupe, which would use the same technology as the Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid, last week at the auto show here. GM designed the Converj so the production version--if it ever happens--will look "exactly like this," says Bob Lutz, GM's vice chairman of global product development.

Detroit Autorama to host Golden Commandos and Ram Chargers drag-racing teams

Fri, 07 Mar 2014

Plenty of race-car drivers and automaker executives still remember the mantra, “Win on Sunday, sell on Monday.” The Golden Commandos and Ram Chargers, two drag-racing teams that embody that motto, will make an appearance at the Detroit Autorama at Cobo Center on March 8, from 1-2 p.m. According to Chrysler, this is the only time they have appeared together since competing on the strip in the late 1960s. The Golden Commandos group was started in 1962 by Chrysler technicians, mechanics and engineers who worked in Highland Park, Mich.
