The engine was originally a 250cc race engine. It had 25 hours on it and I decided to do a complete rebuild and make it a 264cc. Venning ported head Venning Cam Oversize 24mm DLC buckets Valves - new Head just had seats cut and completely checked over Venning spring kit - new 79mm 14.5 compression piston - new Honda cylinder bored & plated to 79mm - new Complete new Honda clutch, basket, hub, pressure plate, springs, discs, fibers This will be a very strong running engine. Volkswagen plans 4 million cars from one platform
Thu, 12 Apr 2012Volkswagen is pushing the global-platform concept to a level unprecedented in the auto industry, introducing a modular platform this summer that eventually will be the basis of microcars, sedans, crossovers and SUVs for its four largest brands. While automakers now share platforms across brands and sometimes even segments, the VW initiative that starts this summer is far more ambitious than anything seen so far. By 2017, some analysts estimate, the MQB platform that debuts with the Audi A3 eventually will be used in 4 million units a year--close to half of VW's annual production.
Infiniti and Red Bull deal set to expand
Mon, 17 Oct 2011Infiniti set to get deeper in to bed with Red Bull We’ve not been the biggest fans of Infiniti’s marketing efforts in the UK and Europe, but we had to concede that the decision for Infiniti to sponsor Red Bull in F1 had its upside. That upside is the decision to build the Infiniti FX50 Sebastian Vettel Edition as a production car, and the news that the feedback from the Vettel car will lead to a range of IPL (Infiniti Performance Line) cars which will be to Infiniti what AMG is to Mercedes and ‘M’ is to BMW. So the news that Infiniti is to up the ante with increased Red Bull sponsorship is good news, probably both for Infiniti and Red Bull.

The marque's historical models are rare on any side of the pond now, but every once in a while we see one of its cars make a grand entrance. This V12 two-door Hooper saloon was a one-off built for the wife of the owner of Hooper Bodies Ltd.
