Sun, 08 Jan 2012The 2013 Ford Mondeo leaks The 2013 Ford Mondeo – or, more accurately, the 2013 Ford Fusion in the US – has appeared on an iPhone app ahead of a reveal at the Detroit Motor Show. It may not actually be the 2013 Ford Mondeo – it is in fact the 2013 Ford Fusion in the US – but, apart from a few subtle changes, the Fusion that’s made an appearance on a Ford iPhone app is the car Europe will get as the new Mondeo. The 2013 Fusion is due to be revealed in all its glory at the Detroit Motor Show tomorrow (9/1/12), and Ford released an iPad app that counted down the days until the Fusion was due to put in an appearance.
CAR sets new hybrid speed world record in Infiniti M35h
Tue, 20 Sep 2011Infiniti M35h Hybrid (2011) long-term test review CAR Magazine has set a new Guinness World Record for an acceleration run in a hybrid car. Associate editor Tim Pollard drove an Infiniti M35h hybrid to record a 13.9sec time over the standing quarter mile - as quick as a Lamborghini Countach would've been in the 1980s. Tue, 02 Sep 2014The new Ford Focus will be in dealers in November 2014 The facelift for the Ford Focus was revealed back in February, but only now are Ford getting their act together with prices and specifications, and the new Focus won’t be in Ford’s UK showrooms until November. Key changes for the new Focus include the new family grill (well, the ‘Aston’ family grill), some tweaks to the lights and alloys and a less cluttered, more upmarket interior, new engines and chassis changes. Ford has retained the same model line-up for the new Focus – and the same starting price – with the Focus Studio ((from £13,995), Style (£16,795), Zetec (£18,295), Zetec S (£20,045), Titanium (£19,795) and Titanium X (£21,795) which means the starting price stays the same and the top-end Titanium models drop by £100.
