Brand NEW 2012 Arai XD4 Explore Orange Helmet in Size Small.

The New Arai XD4 Solid Helmet replacing the XD3 helmet is packed full of features and improvements. The Arai XD series is a favorite among Dual Sport and Adventure riders because of the very low weight, extensive safety features and comfort. Welcome to the next level of Adventure Touring.

Arai's advanced, critically-acclaimed, genre-busting XD crossover-design street-and-dirt helmet is improved and updated in the XD4 - as if such a thing were possible. XD means "Crossover Design" because it crosses over into so many riding styles. You can quickly and easily change it for adventure touring, dual-sport, Supermoto competition, commuting, street riding, whatever.

Visually, it looks like a dirt helmet, with its peak, uniquely-styled chin bar and the opening for goggles. But the XD4 also has a full faceshield like a street helmet, a faceshield that easily slides up under the peak. And you can remove the shield and/or the peak in no time, then easily re-install either or both whenever you like.

  • New comfort headliner, with micro fitting 5mm peel away temple pads
  • Fully removable/replaceable/washable Interior: Comfort head liner, Cheek pads, Chinstrap covers
  • Dry-Cool® technology keeps you dry and cool for greater comfort
  • Patent pending, New FCS® (Facial Contour Support) cheek pad design, also with a 5mm peel away micro fit feature
  • New shell shape for better aerodynamic stability at higher street speeds
  • New exhaust ports added to the top diffuser vents
  • New chin vent with more intake ports
  • Larger sculpted side cowl vents improve ventilation
  • XD4's have a Intermediate Oval shell shape

Saab 9-3: is this the new 2013 hatch?

Tue, 01 Nov 2011

Is this the new Saab 9-3? Contained in Saab's business plan submitted to the Swedish National Debt Office was this grainy image of what purports to be the new 2013 9-3. If it is indeed a model of the finished 9-3, then it shows that the 2011 Phoenix concept car was influential in guiding what should become Saab's best-seller.

£500m scheme introduced to boost electric car ownership

Tue, 29 Apr 2014

Newspress Deputy prime minister Nick Clegg is today launching a £500 million scheme to boost electric and hybrid car ownership in the UK.   Perks for electric car drivers The funding will provide extra perks to encourage more drivers to trade in their old, conventionally powered cars for electric or hybrid vehicles. Councils will be able to apply for funding if they come up with plans to encourage people to ditch their petrol and diesel cars – for example, by offering free parking to electric vehicles and giving them the right to drive in bus lanes.

Philip Hammond is Secretary of State for Transport

Thu, 13 May 2010

Philip Hammond - Secretary of State for Transport The Tories claimed in their election campaigning that motorists have had a raw deal under Labour. Do you know, we’d not noticed. We’d not noticed the inexorable rise in fuel duty even when the country was crying in pain; hadn’t seen the proliferation of speed cameras as revenue gathering tools; not noticed Ken’s cynical manipulation of London’s traffic prior to introducing congestion charging; failed to see that under Labour coppers had disappeared from our roads to be replaced by brainless machines.
