Suzuki G70, Swift Range Extender at 2012 Geneva motor show

Wed, 07 Mar 2012

You will not find too many detractors when it comes to the Swift, particularly in its Sport guise, but its clean-living brother was one of the two highlights on the Suzuki stand. The rather convolutedly-named Range Extender was actually first shown at Geneva in 2010, but has since undergone further development. More interesting is the G70.

New Suzuki Swift Sport (2012) revealed – well, one photo.

Wed, 10 Aug 2011

The first photo of the 2012 Suzuki Swift Sport At the Geneva Motor Show in the Spring we got a sport concept of the new Suzuki Swift which Suzuki dubbed the Swift S-CONCEPT, even though we all knew it was a great big signpost towards the new Suzuki Swift Sport. And so it was, with the news last month (thanks to a an email from Suzuki in Russia announcing the 2012 Swift Sport ahead of the game) that the Swift Sport was heading for a production-ready debut and going on sale in 2012. So it’s not exactly a surprise that Suzuki has sent us a single image of the 2012 Swift Sport to tease us in to a full debut at Frankfurt.

Car dealers are buying again

Wed, 21 Jan 2009

Used car sales in the UK (and just about everywhere else, for that matter) have been in the doldrums, to say the least, for many months. The inexorable decline in car values has left many dealers nursing painful losses on stock cars, and has led to the strange situation where, however desperate a dealer was to sell you a new car, he wouldn’t (or couldn’t) offer you a part-ex price. Car dealers are buying stock again But according to the used car value Gurus at Glasses Guide, things are starting to look up – a little.
