Nissan's DeltaWing goes for a ride at Sebring

Mon, 19 Mar 2012

The Nissan-powered DeltaWing race car was on-hand for a few laps at Sebring this weekend, and the funky-looking speedster made it around the 3.7-mile track without incident. Granted, it was at about half race speed, but it was good to see the Nissan out on four wheels— narrow as some of those wheels might be. Ford’s 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine now going in to 1 in 5 new Fords

Fri, 08 Aug 2014

Half the Ford B-Max (pictured) sold get the 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine Who’d have thought, just a few years ago, that a 1.0 litre, 3-cylinder engine would become one of the most popular engines in a new car in Europe? The little Ford EcoBoost even seems to have persuaded buyers that they should forsake dirty diesel engines for it, and Ford has fitted 120,000 in the first six months of 2014 with almost half B-Max models, a third of Focus and 30 per cent of Fiestas getting the little wonder.

Ford Focus facelift (2014) first official pictures

By Damion Smy First Official Pictures 23 February 2014 23:00 Watch out VW Golf: this is the new Ford Focus that’s been unveiled by Ford ahead of the 2014 Geneva motor show. Gone is the bluff, snouty front end of the current car and in its place are sleeker, narrower front and rear lights, a new bonnet, bumpers and a new grille. Yet it lacks the awkward, guppy-like stance of the Fiesta, which was given its new Aston Martin-esque grille in late 2012, and is a much more sophisticated looking car.
