Workers at Chrysler's Conner Avenue Assembly plant in Detroit, where the car is assembled, were told of the production moves today. None will be laid off; instead they will be reassigned to other Chrysler plants in the Detroit area, a Chrysler spokeswoman said.

In this video from Mercedes-Benz, DC takes us on a guided tour up the hillclimb, corner by corner behind the wheel of a suitably glam Merc SLS Black Series.

This was the 24th running of the show, which was started by Ford and a herd of Mustang clubs as a kickoff to the car-show season.
