Bugatti Grand Sport Venet edition (2012): a 253mph art car

This is the latest one-off Bugatti Veyron supercar: the Bernar Venet editon. Partly inspired by the 1970s BMW art cars of Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, French artist Bernar Venet's creation pays tribute to the eggheads responsible for the Veyron's conception, by covering the front panels in mathematical equations relating to the output of the car's enormous engine. Peugeot 308 GT THP and 308 SW (2008): first official pictures

By Mark Nichol First Official Pictures 19 February 2008 09:37 Peugeot is hammering the final nails into the coffin of the 307 with two new additions to the 308 range – a warmed-up 308 GT THP and a practical SW estate – both due to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2008. Peugeot has given that ‘Lion’s nose’ bonnet a bit more, erm, growl by dropping the 175bhp engine from the 207 GTi into it. That means 0-62mph comes up in 8.3 seconds while the top speed is 140mph.

The Peugeot 4007 Sport XS - Peugeot's PSA 4x4 - has been launched today There are some plus points, however. It has pretty good off-road ability (thanks to the input of Mitsubishi, no doubt), not that many owners ever go off road. It has a pretty decent, supple ride and the 2.2 litre HDI engine is a good unit.
