Mon, 08 Feb 2010Porsche has revealed the 2010 911 Turbo S - sales start May. Porsche has a habit of sticking the ‘S’ badge on the back of its Turbo cars as a Special Edition or run-out model. It did it with 993 and 996 911s, but this time the 997 Porsche 911 Turbo S is to be a stand-alone model at the top of the 911 tree.

Designed by JAC's Turin-based design team, the concept showcases both a hybrid powertrain and a new A-segment chassis that houses a lithium ion battery in the center tunnel. The styling is meant to convey both a sense of 'natural electricity' and the fluid, natural strokes of Chinese calligraphy. Audi starts Facebook petition for the TT RS
Mon, 09 Aug 2010Audi of America is doing what it can to convince its German bosses to send the TT RS our way. A petition on the automaker's Facebook page says that “Audi is seriously rethinking its original plans for the range-topping TT model and wants to hear from you.” As of Monday morning, the petition had gathered 3,742 signatures. Currently, the TT line in the United States includes only the TT and the TTS.
