Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) on our factory OEM grade decals:

Q: Are  these the same decals that I would get at the dealer? (OE - original  equipment)
A: Sort of. Our decals are manufactured with the same  equipment and processes that the factory decals are, but we can not  advertise them as original equipment because we are not a supplier  to Ford and our decals are not installed on the trucks at the  factory. We hold a license from Ford Motor Company as a licensed  aftermarket manufacturer of graphics and decals using their exact  designs that they send to us. The same ones used to make the factory  graphics.

Q: Why  is there a clear rectangle around the graphic? Shouldn't the letters  all be cut out?
A: If you look close on all the Ford trucks, you'll see that  all of their bed side graphics are printed on a clear overcoat of  vinyl and then installed. The picture above shows the FX4 decal with  the clear surround. Best seen along the top and the edge along the  "X" and the end of the "4". Upon installation, the clear vinyl will  be very noticeable for about 24-48 hours. After that it will be  practically invisible, like on the factory trucks.

Q: Will  the color of my truck show through the middle areas of the letters?
A: Yes. The middle of the OFF ROAD letters as well as the  middle of the "4" is also clear, as is the area inside the "FX". If  you look at the image at the top, imagine that being on a white  truck - so the white areas show through the clear vinyl.

Q: The  decals I get from the dealer have the installation "marks" on them.  Do these?
A: No. Our decals are made to fit every F-series truck (F150  and Super Duty) from 2012-2014 - since the installation points are  different on all of those, we are unable to make the install point  marks. We do include installation instructions, as well as a link to  our web site that gives even more detailed installation help.

Q: Why  do these cost more than your other FX4 decals?
A: Our other decals are "standard" quality. While they are  really really good - at their respective price points - they are not  factory quality. The decals in this listing are for potential  customers that are looking for the highest quality product, but also  at a fair price. The dealer charges around $75 a piece (one for each  side), which isn't an awful price, but why pay all those middle-men  when you can buy direct from us at a great price?

Q:  Since they cost more, I'm assuming they're better - right?
A: YES! The biggest advantage to our OEM factory quality  decals is their durability. Print wise it's the same quality found  on our standard grade decals, but it's the automotive laminate  process (the clear overcoat) that makes them virtually bullet-proof.  You can run them through an automatic car wash over and over again  and they won't fade or take the color out, sit in the sun forever  and won't get discolored. If they get scratched it will only effect  the top automotive laminate coat, not the printed area underneath.

Q: Is  there a higher quality that you can do?
A: No. The decals in this listing are our absolute best  quality product. In terms of print quality and durability it doesn't  get any better than this - no matter where you get them.

Q: I  love this style, but have you got other color choices available?
A: We sure do! If you look through our other listings any of  the FX4 color options are available. If we haven't got them posted  on ebay yet, send us an email and we can get a listing set up for  that particular one.

Q: This  is for a pair of decals - correct? So Qty 1 = 2 decals?
A: Yes.
