Chevrolet Trax revealed ahead of Paris Motor Show debut
Mon, 13 Aug 2012The Chevrolet Trax – the Chevrolet take on the Vauxhall Mokka – has been revealed ahead of a debut at the Paris Motor Show in September. We reported a few months ago that we could expect the Chevrolet Trax at the Paris Motor Show, but ahead of that reveal Chevrolet has sent us some photos of the Trax and a few details. Effectively the Chevrolet take on the Opel and Vauxhall Mokka (and, for that matter, the Buick Encore), the Trax gets a a Chevy makeover for the front and back and the required rebadging.
Infiniti EX35
Fri, 24 Aug 2007The EX35 is a slightly smaller and more mainstream SUV than its FX bigger brother from which it takes its core 'coupe SUV' theme. Despite the coupe design references, the vehicle is similar proportionally to the Lexus RX300 and BMW X3 which it will compete with in the US - and also in Europe when the Infiniti brand debuts next year. Little different to the Infiniti EX concept shown in New York, the EX35 uses the core Infiniti graphic design signatures and soft form language but introduces a new flowing side feature line not seen on the Infiniti G37 Coupe launched a few months ago. Interesting technical innovations include the 'Around View Monitor' that uses four cameras to give a 'top-down view' of the outside of the car, and 'Scratch Shield' - a new self-healing clearcoat paint. Audi R8 spyder appears headed for Frankfurt show
Thu, 28 May 2009The much-anticipated Audi R8 spyder likely will make its world debut in production guise at the Frankfurt motor show in September. The drop-top version of the head-turning German supercar would share mechanicals with the coupe, which offers a V8 making 420 hp and a V10 with 525 hp. The R8 has a mid-engine layout and channels power to the ground with all-wheel drive.
