    WIRING:
  • These instructions assume the use of the included switch. This allows the switch to toggle the lamp off / brake lamp function (green light on switch) / rear fog lamp function (red light on switch).
  • Professional installation is highly recommended, items damaged through self-installation will not be eligible for return.
  • Connect the red line from the brake light to the red wire on the switch.
  • Connect the reverse light bulb plugs normally.
  • Connect the black wires (switch side and lamp side) to existing ground.
  • Connect the blue wire from the switch to existing brake light positive line.
  • Connect yellow switch line to a constant +12V DC source (such as a battery).
  • Note: When using the brake light option the indicator LED on the switch will only light up when the bakes are pressed.

    The Lexus RX 450h Advance (pictured) added to the RX range Lexus has added a new version of the hybrid RX 450h to their range of offerings in the UK – the Lexus RX 450h Advance – but they’re not exactly pushing the boat out to promote it. The details we got from Lexus tell us that the Advance is based on the RX Luxury, but with the addition of extra kit and just one photo (above). Those extras amount to a new front bumper that’s half regular R and half RX F-Sport for a slightly more butch look, LED headlights and Lexus’s I-AFS auto-adaptive system that makes the lights move according to steering input.

    Vauxhall's Ellesmere Port Plant will have no job losses It looks like the bulk of the savings that GM need to make in Vauxhall/Opel are going to fall outside the UK, with the news that there will be no job cuts at the Astra-making Ellesmere Port plant and around 340 job losses at Luton. Which is about as good as the news was ever likely to be for Vauxhall workers in the UK. Whatever the outcome of the GM/Magna deal it always seemed likely that Ellesmere Port would be relatively unscathed.
