Range Rover Evoque Convertible NOT going in to production. Thankfully.

It seems Land Rover is having second thoughts about making the Range Rover Evoque Convertible – shown at Geneva 2012 – in to a production model. But the one model we really couldn’t find a lot of positives in was the Range Rover Evoque Convertible – which arrived as a concept at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show – looking like the ultimate statement of Chav central for Tango’d ‘Ladies’ who lunch, from Brentwood via Surrey and up to Cheshire. We understood Land Rover’s impetus – they thought there’d be a market for a drop-top Evoque – but it really was a step too far for Land Rover to go.

Vauxhall Astra GTC - looks good Vauxhall has certainly got some mileage out of the launch of the 2012 Vauxhall Astra GTC. As has Opel for the launch of their differently badge version of GM’s Euro-hot-hatch, designed to take on the likes of the VW Scircoco. 2014 Nissan Sentra will start at $16,800

Nissan's seventh-generation Sentra has proved to be a successful model for the brand, with sales up 16.6 percent. It was announced today that the 2014 Sentra will start at $16,800 for the base model including destination, the same as the 2013 model. Nissan will be making some improvements to the Sentra to further enhance its “class above” look and feel.
