Hyundai goes K-Pop and releases an album
Thu, 25 Oct 2012Hyundai has teamed up with Korean pop stars to create an album of music inspired by the new i40, New Generation i30 and Veloster. We’ve loved the way Hyundai has moved its products on from Halford’s special to mainstream credible in quick sticks, and their PR teams have been on the ball too with good initiatives and a willingness to make things happen. But we’re not too sure how effective a new album of music by Korea’s K-Pop stars – inspired, we’re told, by the new i40, New Generation i30 and Veloster – is as a marketing tool.

Fri, 08 Feb 2013Rowan Atkinson pranged his McLaren F1 in 2011 in Cambridgeshire and now, after a repair bill of £910,00, it’s back. We all know what a petrolhead Black Adder and Mr Bean actor Rowan Atkinson is, and most of the car world knows he owns a McLaren F1, and that he had a nasty accident in it in 2011. Rowan lost control of his F1 in damp and unpleasant conditions on the A605 near Peterborough and ended up going backwards in to a tree.

Fri, 22 Feb 2013With the crowd shuffling out of the Bruce Weiner Micro Car Museum after day one of RM's sale, Autoweek contributor Dave Kinney looked over to RM's Ian Kelleher and complimented him on a strong first day. Kelleher smirked and said that he expected that day two would be even better. He was right.
