Our SSD Performance / K&N Cold Air Intake Kit for all 2012-2016 Subaru Impreza 2.0 liter models (Will NOT fit Hybrid or turbo models) replaces your stock intake draft tube with our smooth flowing, mandrel bent SSD Performance draft tube and replaces your stock air filter with a high flowing K&N panel air filter (up to 50% better than stock) and maintains your factory cold air inlet / air box for true cold air intake performance. Our mandrel bend draft tube straightens, smooths and increases the air flow to the throttle body to improve both throttle response and low end torque. The included K&N panel filter increases air flow through the factory cold air fed air box and our SSD draft tube increases both air velocity and volume to increase the air flow to your engine for improved throttle response and high RPM performance

Our SSD intakes finished in a durable powder coating in either gloss red or black that will look great for years (note that this listing is for a gloss RED intake, please see our other listings for gloss black). Our intakes are finished in the same powder coating we use on all of our Subaru strut tower braces and engine covers that are pictured here for a perfect match (see our other listings)

These SSD cold air intake kits are hand fabricated right here in the USA and include the K&N High Flow panel air filter (with K&N's famous Million Mile Warranty), SSD Performance intake draft tubes, reinforced silicone couplers, heavy duty stainless steel T-clamps, all necessary hardware and instructions. These install quickly and easily without any modifications or special tools

This listing is for the SSD / K&N cold air intake kit only, the strut tower brace and engine cover in the pics are not included but are available in our Ebay store

Thanks for looking!

Ecotricity Nemesis: The UK Tesla

Sat, 20 Nov 2010

The Ecotricity Nemesis - a British Tesla Dale Vince has built Ecotricity – an environmentally-friendly electricity generating company – from nothing to an annual investment of £25 million in wind energy. Which casual readers here would think we would find appalling. But far from it; we think it’s admirable.

Production of Peugeot iOn and Citroen C-Zero EVs halted

Sat, 11 Aug 2012

Production of the Peugeot iOn and Citroen C-Zero – both the Mitsubishi i-MiEV under the skin – has been halted by Mitsubishi. The Peugeot iOn EV arrived at the Frankfurt Motor Show three years ago and the Citroen C-Zero EV arrived a few months later, heralding PSA’s arrival in the EV market with a car based on the Mitsubishi i-MiEV. But the prices were frankly horrible at £33,155, more than four times what you’d have to pay for a Citroen C1 or a Peugeot 107 with the 1.0 litre petrol engine.

2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed & Revival dates announced

Mon, 14 Oct 2013

2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed & Revival dates announced It’s only seems a few weeks since the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival were drawing petrolheads to Sussex for their annual fix of high octane thrills, but now they’re done and dusted for 2013 Lord March has already announced the plans for 2014. The Goodwood Festival of Speed will take place from Friday 27th June to Sunday 29th June with the Moving Motor Show taking place on the Thursday before – 26th June – to complete perhaps the best ‘car’ weekend on the planet. Lord March hasn’t revealed the theme for the 2014 Festival of Speed – although it will be revealed shortly – but you can be sure the Festival will be as action-packed as ever with the best of cars, ancient and modern, thrills and excitement as Goodwood resounds to the sound of the internal combustion engine.
