Unlike the current car, which shares the so-called premium architecture with the Brera twins, the next midliner from Arese adopts a slightly wider and longer variation of the C/D components set. This new, more space-efficient matrix combines a McPherson front axle with a twin-link rear suspension, and engineers promise great handling benefits will result.

Looking like an electric version of the Audi R8, it managed to steal some of the thunder from BMW’s Vision ED concept . And it looks like the story was bang on the money. The new Ford Capri – which looks like it will be badged the Ford Focus Coupe – will be the new Ford Focus three-door; a hot coupe to take on cars like the VW Scirocco.
