Suzuki Celerio revealed in India – Euro-spec Celerio heading for Geneva
Fri, 07 Feb 2014The new Suzuki Celerio (pictured_ revealed in India The Suzuki Celerio has been launched at the Auto expo in New Delhi this week as a new A-Segment offering from Suzuki, but the Celerio isn’t just for emerging markets and will arrive in Eur-spec at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show next month. The Celerio offers more space than bothy the Alto and Splash – Suzuki’s current offerings in the A-Segment – and is expected to cost much the same as the Alto when it arrives in the UK in early 2015. Which means the new Celerio is probably the replacement for both the Splash and Alto, and Suzuki are trumpeting it a ‘pocket-friendly’ car.

Parking fines hit £30 per month
Fri, 20 Sep 2013BRITISH motorists pay more than £30 million each month in parking fines, figures suggest. More tickets are being issued this year by councils than last year and there has been a 13% rise in fines issued on a Sunday, according to data obtained by LV=. The car insurer calculated councils have handed out more than 890,000 parking fines per month in 2013 - a 4% increase on 2012 figures - and, based on an average amount of £42 per ticket and excluding any successful appeals, drivers are now paying in excess of £30 million each month.
