Faurecia Pin-spiration calls for premium pinboards

Faurecia has launched its ‘Faurecia Pin-spiration' contest, with a brand new 64GB iPad up for grabs. Tier supplier Faurecia is using online sharing community Pinterest to host a new competition to create a pinboard named ‘Faurecia Pin-spiration' – categorized under ‘Cars and Motorcycles' – and filled with things that reflect the meaning of ‘premium’ that could also be used in automotive design. Volkswagen Cross Coupe

Volkswagen unveiled its SUV concept, the Cross Coupe, at the 42nd Tokyo motor show today. The ‘SUV of the future', is an all-wheel drive plug-in hybrid that hints at the future aesthetic of such a model from the brand. Dimensionally the Cross Coupe slots between the Golf hatchback and the current Tiguan baby SUV, with the CC's short overhangs contributing to its short length and overall sporting dynamic.

Cadillac S-class fighter confirmed

General Motors CEO Dan Akerson recently revealed to USA Today that a new Cadillac S-class and 7-series fighter is in the works. He suggested it would be released in about two years. The large luxury sedan will utilize a rear-wheel-drive chassis loosely based on the CTS, though there will also be an all-wheel drive version.
