Mercury 197? 20hp Lower gear set Model 200
This is a used lower unit gear set from a 197? 20hp Mercury. These gears are a matched set and always played well with
each other. (they never got in any trouble) I never saw the outboard that these were off, but the lower unit was identical to my
1976 20hp Merc. This really nice gear set came out of a lower unit that had stainless steel prop and drive shafts. There were
no bearing failures in the lower unit. Simply someone removed the shift shaft and couldn't put it back in. I believe the outboard
over heated as the water pump impeller blew apart and melted the pump housing.   (destroyed impeller not included in this sale)
I will also be listing the rest of the lower unit parts so check it out. This gear set should fit from the late 60s to the early 80s but I don't
know for sure. As always do you own checking and ask questions. Hard to find a nicer used set of gears.
Shipping will be $6.50 (small flat rate box) to the lower 48 states and more else where.   HAPPY EBAYING!!!
