Porsche Cayenne S Diesel (2012) first pictures

Wed, 12 Sep 2012

Porsche has equipped its Cayenne SUV with a twin-turbo diesel engine, creating (no surprises here) the Cayenne S diesel. The 4.2-litre bi-turbo oil-burner puts out 376bhp and a rather wholesome 626lb ft of torque. Mitsubishi Compact Crossover revealed

Thu, 29 Oct 2009

It wants to be seen as a manufacturer of ‘environment-friendly passenger cars & crossovers’ instead of an SUV focused manufacturer. It sees cars like the i-MiEV, Colt, Lancer, Grandis and Outlander as the future, although it intends remaining in the ‘Authentic off-roader’ segment with cars like the Shogun.

Peugeot Design Contest 2008

Thu, 09 Oct 2008

Carlos Arturo Torres Tovar from Colombia was last week announced as the winner of the 5th annual Peugeot Design Contest at the 2008 Mondial de l'Automobile in Paris. The 25 year old designer's winning 'RD' concept was chosen via an online internet poll and a competition jury headed by Peugeot's Managing Director, Jean Philippe Collin. This year's contest asked designers to "Imagine the Peugeot in the worldwide megalopolis of tomorrow" and to then design a car that could evolve with the cities of the future, while retaining the key values of the 21st century.
