The Subaru Impreza WRX STI Spec C launches in Japan today Subaru has today launched the Subaru Impreza WRX STI Spec C on to the Japanese market. Subaru are building just 900 Spec C cars which feature a number of improvements over the already available STI spec. Subaru has dropped the weight – by an undisclosed amount – by fitting a smaller battery, aluminium bonnet and laminar glass at the front and sides.

The Nuvu name literally means ‘new view’, so the concept previews urban transportation for the next decade. Pictures won’t be released until Paris, but we know the Nuvu will feature similar electric technology to the EV-02 prototype and the production EV that Nissan will unveil at the 2009 Tokyo motor show.

Audi designs car for 'Ender's Game' sci-fi movie

Audi has designed a futuristic car for the upcoming sci-fi action blockbuster Ender's Game. The carmaker joined forces with director Gavin Hood and his production team to digitally integrate its first entirely virtual car – the Audi Fleet Shuttle Quattro – into the futuristic environment of the film. Frank Rimili, chief designer for the film project, said, "Designing the Audi Fleet Shuttle Quattro was similar to customizing a tailor-made suit.
