Good fun at Goodwood

Tue, 06 Jul 2010

The 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed started with a bang--and a bent Jaguar E-Type. But by the end of the weekend, the festival was being acclaimed by both fans and participants as one of the most successful runnings of the annual event so far. As always, the festival took place at the house and grounds of Lord March's sizeable estate in West Sussex, England, being extended to four days this year by the addition of a new “Moving Motorshow.” This is clearly intended to become a regular fixture and a replacement for Britain's cancelled “International” motor show.

Rolls Royce has its most successful year EVER in 2013 The 110th anniversary of Rolls Royce in 2013 is a record in itself, but RR have capped that by delivering a set of sales figures that are the best ever. Big sales growth across the glove saw sales in the Middle East rise by 17 per cent, China by 11 per cent and strong sales in other markets like Germany, Japan and Canada, with China and the US remaining the most significant markets. Those extra sales have been helped by the network of Rolls Royce dealers rising to a record 120 with a further 15 new dealerships added in 2013 and more planned for 2014.

Red Bull Racing's X2014 concept car to feature in GT6

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

Red Bull Racing has revealed its X2014 concept car that will feature in the upcoming Gran Turismo 6 racing game. The Formula 1 team's chief technical officer Adrian Newey worked alongside Polyphony Digital to develop the road car, which is obviously very much inspired by F1 car design. Elements such as the F1 car nose and low-hanging front spoiler are proof of this, although the design features headlamps and fenders surrounding the tires.
