Knock Sensor (KS)
The Knock sensor generates an AC voltage created from the frequency of
poor combustion in the engines combustion chambers. A mechanical fault within the motor
creating a rapping sound may create false signals from this sensor. Ignition timing and the
air/fuel ratio are adjusted to compensate for this condition.
Location: The Knock sensor is located on the engine block and in some applications under
the intake manifold.

Chief among these are the sharply creased corners, the forward placement of the Toyota badge, a lowered grille and styling that Toyota's global design chief Wahei Hirai calls "free-form geometrics." MERCEDES has released teaser images of its hotly anticipated new Porsche 911 rival. The German firm has dropped the familiar ‘Benz’ element of its name, with the car being called simply the Mercedes-AMG GT. Name and cabin layout aside, Mercedes is giving little away as to the car’s looks and motive power.

The best four submissions – the Brabus Widestar, Urban Whip, Pikes Peak Rally Racer and Rock Crawler - were displayed at SEMA. And presumably scared a lot of showgoers senseless.
