Police seize 700 stolen car badges
Fri, 13 Dec 2013Police have seized over 700 badges believed to have been stolen from cars in the Coventry area. 49-year-old badge thief Maxine-Ann Sokil was caught out when a potential buyer recognised a badge from Coventry Transport Museum on eBay. When we reviewed Ford’s first Fiesta ECOnetic we were impressed that, at least if you were prepared to drive wi8th a very light foot, you could get 70mpg out of a comfortable and fun Fiesta. But we did say that ECOnetic should be an engine choice and not a model choice.

Number one of ten limited-edition Brabus EV12s struck a brooding figure at the tuner’s stand – hardly surprising with a 6.3-litre bi-turbo V12 under the bonnet and a £440,000 price tag. The E-class has been transformed into a tarmac-shredding supercar-chaser thanks to the introduction of a newly developed SV12 R bi-turbo engine which, Brabus claims, was implanted under the bonnet with 'almost surgical precision'.
