Plan 1

This midget trailer is one of the early teardrop designs and is a classic. This

design has to be over 70 years old and still looks good today. The construction

is straightforward and simple and with some of the modern materials available

today a person could build this very quickly. If I wanted a lot of attention this is a

design I'd go for.









Plan 2

The classic teardrop camper trailer

This is the original old teardrop camper design. It's a classic. This design cost

about $50 to make back in the 1930s.










Plan 3
Teardrop for two

This teardrop design is very close to the original teardrop and is built just for

two people to go on camping trips. It is a very small design and you could

probably use a Harbor freight trailer to get you started with and resolve the

majority of your construction effort. The small size and weight of this design would

hardly increase your gas mileage at all.












Plan 4
The camp trailer

The camp trailer is a very interesting design. It's a little larger than most of

the teardrop designs but it's just as aerodynamic. The trailer is 10 feet long by

4 feet wide and 4'10" high. The design will sleep several people and comes with a

fully equipped kitchen area.













Plan 5
The little guy

The Little guy is one of my favorite designs it's similar to a Teardrop and that

it is very aerodynamic and small but has headroom over 7'1".

This camper design reminds me a

lot of the wonderful small Scottie trailers. While this design is not a traditional

Teardrop design I think it has a lot going for it and will probably be just as

aerodynamic as the teardrop. I know it will be a lot more economical than a large trailer and get used more than a Teardrop

since you'll be

able to stand up in it. There is no reason you couldn't use a standard used boat

trailer for this design and save a lot of money and time in building it.












Plan 6

The RunLite design is one of the smallest and lightest of the teardrop camper

trailers I've seen. This design is almost small enough to use on a motorcycle.













Plan 7
The Chuck wagon.

The Chuck wagon is an interesting design and and allows someone who likes tent camping

to take a fully loaded trailer with a kitchen and huge storage compartment which would keep the car from filling up with gear.

You could put all of your camping gear inside so when you get to the campsite just pitch the tent and

still have everything in the Chuck wagon ready to go when needed. It saves a

lot of money on long road trips because you can make fully cooked meals for your

whole family and have all of your gear stored properly instead of it being packed inside

the car. If you all ready have a nice tent for your family this chuckwagon would

make a nice addition to help take all your gear with you on your next camping trip.









Plan 8
The expandable camper.

This is a great design if you already own a pickup truck. This design will save

you a lot of gas because the top can be lowered to reduce the height while you're

driving. The expandable sides covered in canvas create a lot of extra space.
Believe it or not, if someone sleeps in the truck cab of the pickup truck you can

sleep five people with this design.

Pop up camper

This is a wonderful pop up camper design. This design is just a small and

lightweight as the teardrop but one once it is enlarged by opening up the canvas

roof and walls you have extremely large space for very little cost and weight.

Since half of the trailer is made from canvas the building will go very quickly

also. The plywood main body or box of the camper is 7 x 10', and the design only

takes 20 minutes to set up or take down once you arrive to your campground.

Giant pop-up trailer

This was designed and built especially to go on a long distance trip to Alaska.

This is a very large camper has a huge amount of space but since it is a fold up

expandable tight camper it can be reduced to a very small size while towing. This

is also very easy trailer tow as it comes with four wheels and puts very little

weight on the trailer hitch. If you have a large family in need of a lot of space

this would be an excellent design to look into.

The wild goose.

The wild goose is a great design. It's a very large teardrop design. If you want

something larger than the teardrop but still want to be as aerodynamic as

possible and something that will create a lot of attention and be something that

nobody else has on the road in the campground then the wild goose is a good design

for you to look at.

Camp kitchen

the camp kitchen is an amazing little box that turns into a full-fledged kitchen

and dining room table and can be stored in a small space 3 feet long and 9 inches

high. You won't find any other design as compact and easy to build as this

simple box that turns into a kitchen and outdoor dining table.
