Renault at Geneva Motor Show: Renault Wind
Tue, 02 Mar 2010The Renault Wind gets its first public airing at Geneva The Renault Wind gets its first public airing at Geneva Last month Renault revealed that the Twingo CC we were expecting to make an appearance would – but as the Renault Wind. Which seems to be because Renault want us to perceive the Wind as a bit more upmarket that the Twingo on which it’s based. MG5
Tue, 17 Apr 2012The MG5 is a C-segment, two-box hatchback, based on SAIC AP platform. Like the MG5 concept, SAIC Design UK and SAIC Design China designed the production version's exterior and interior respectively, in a collaboration between Ken Ma – former director of SAIC Design China – and current Global Design Director Tony Williams. In general, its exterior has inherited the ‘Flow Edge' design philosophy from MG3, which launched in the Chinese market last year.
Peugeot Onyx concept [w/Gallery]
Wed, 12 Sep 2012Peugeot has previewed its Onyx concept, set to debut at this month's Paris motor show, just days after the first teaser images were released. Very much a supercar in terms of its proportions and form, the Onyx is not the first time Peugeot's previewed super and super-sports cars in concept form, but the Onyx looks a lot more promising than previous efforts, from these photos at least. Conforming to the modern, eco-conscious supercar norm, the Onyx features a hybrid drivetrain - following in the footsteps of the BMW i8, Honda NSX and Jaguar CX-75. Peugeot's stated aim is to push itself upmarket and become a more premium brand, so the Onyx could be read as a sign that the company feels it needs more of a 'halo' car in order to achieve that aim.
