Ford ECOnetic Vans launched
Thu, 23 Apr 2009The Ford Transit ECOnetic brings green option for White Van Man. [ad#ad-1] The whole ‘Green’ thing is now finding its way in to mainstream commercial vehicles (which is a very good place for it to be), and that move is now given huge impetus by Ford, with their announcement today that they are launching ECOnetic versions of both the Transit and the Fiesta Van. Jaguar C-X75 heading up the hillcimb at Goodwood Festival of Speed
Fri, 12 Jul 2013The Jaguar C-X75, pictured at Goodwood ahead of its Supercar run Jaguar are pulling out all the stops for this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed with not only their latest performance cars but the debut of the Jaguar Project 7, an F-Type R with the DNA of a D-Type. But they’ve topped all that by deciding that their canned supercar project – the Jaguar C-X75 – deserves a proper outing in public. Jaguar only have five development versions of the C-X75, but they’ve taken one to Goodwood – although it’s not on display – and are wheeling it out over the weekend to take part in the Michelin Supecar run up the hill.
Audi Q5 concept is killer
Tue, 19 May 2009Audi has provided the strongest hint yet that it plans to crown its Q5 lineup with an RS model by revealing a one-off, 408-hp, supercharged 3.0-liter V6 concept version of its compact SUV. The vehicle’s public premiere comes this weekend at the annual Woerthersee meet in Austria. Although Audi officials are playing down the importance of the custom concept, insiders have told AutoWeek that it was constructed to provide customer feedback on a possible performance-oriented version of the Q5, the likes of which would almost certainly form part of the company’s future North American lineup.
