I have a nice set of 24" chrome Giovanna Gello GG Rolls Royce Phantom wheels and Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires for sale. This set was on a 2007 Phantom.  These wheels have a chrome center with chrome lip but the way these design these wheels you can put optional paint center pieces onto the wheels for an added custom look (see pic of the Giovanna wheels with white accent pieces).  The wheels are in good condition and the chrome is nice.  There are a few marks/scrapes but not bad.    These wheels have custom RR center pieces but I also have the original Giovanna chrome center pieces and hardward which I will included.  Lugs are included as well.

The rims are wrapped with Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires (285/35/24) and have a lot of tread remaining. Please see the close up pictures but I would estimate 90% tread remaining up front and 75% at the rears. If you want to set your Phantom apart, this set will do it. I receive a substantial fedex shipping discount which I pass onto you so shipping will be between $40 -$50 per wheel within the U.S. and if outside the U.S. please contact me. If you need the wheels sooner don't hesitate to contact me. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me. If you want to see them in Newport Beach, CA please contact me.  Dont hesitate to make a fair offer.

CCS - AISI project 2007

Wed, 26 Sep 2007

The college for Creative Studies (CCS) has been teaming up with the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) since 1989, bringing together imaginative automotive design and steel, the material of choice in the industry. As did last year's program, this summer also saw three engineering students from the University of Michigan (UM) join three CCS transportation design students to develop a concept car. Revolving around an 'Inside Out' theme, students conceptualized, rendered and created a concept vehicle based on a steel exoskeleton design.

Suzuki loses the American Dream, dies an unloved death on our shores

Tue, 06 Nov 2012

On Nov. 5, 2012, the American Suzuki Motor Corp.filed for bankruptcy and announced that no more Suzukis will be sold in America—not now, not ever. (Unless someone has the Bricklin-like foresight to import Wagon Rs to our advanced civilization in, say, 50 years.) And with that news, the Stateside automotive journalists filed their respective stories, drove home and sat on the couch to twiddle their thumbs.

No sign of global auto meltdown at Tokyo Auto Salon

Mon, 19 Jan 2009

With more than 600 cars on display and a record number of exhibitors, nothing at the 2009 Tokyo Auto Salon tuner show hinted at the global economic downturn. As always, there was a great mix of styles, from hard-core, 1,000-hp, supertuned machinery to weird customized scooter tricycles. Auto manufacturers tried hard to capture the minds--if not the wallets--of the younger-than-30 crowd with customized versions of production cars, while tuners were busy persuading power junkies to choose them for their next engine modification.
