This is a new factory fresh Quick Charge 24 Volt 10 Amp Automatic Battery Charger for Golf Cars or other 24 volt battery equipment. It uses standard 117 volt AC power. This new QP Series of chargers features digital readout on the front panel of volts and amps. This is an extremely versatile line of new chargers from Quick Charge Corp. The charger can be programmed for different charge profiles for different types of batteries. We typically ship the charger programmed as "Gas and Timed Shutoff". Upon request, we can program the charger as a "Gas and Float" or we can program it for AGM (Sealed) battery use.

NOTE ABOUT CHARGER OUTPUT:  This is a 24 Volt 10 Amp Charger.  This charger is rated to charge batteries that have an amp hour rating (20 hour rate) of from 80 to 175 amp hours.  If your batteries are rated higher than that, it might take longer to charge them fully and perhaps you should consider buying a higher output charger.  See my other auctions.

NOTE ABOUT CONNECTORS: This charger is shipped with the SB-50 RED connector.   This will only plug into another SB-50 RED connector.  If you need a different connector, please contact me to check on that connector being available.

SHIPPING:   All of our chargers are in stock at our business and usually ship same day or next day.  Shipping will be FREE inside the US lower 48 states. Shipping to Canada will be by Priority Mail International for an additional US$70.00.  Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico will be by Priority Mail for an additional $45.00.

APO/FPO customers please contact me before purchase to get a shipping quote for shipment by Military Mail.  Also, please be aware that customs requires me to provide your phone number when I ship to APO/FPO addresses.

PAYMENT:  Payment is to be by Paypal or Credit Card directly by phone.

WARRANTY:  The charger comes with a 36 month limited warranty from the manufacturer.  Full contact information for the Manufacturer and for us is always included with the charger.

RETURNS:  Ebay now requires sellers to state a return policy.  The only options are to state "Returns Accepted" or Returns Not Accepted".  Well, we had to change to "Returns Not Accepted" because of abuse of the return policy.  Over the years, we have had few returns and in most cases, a simple phone call solved the problem with an explanation of how the product worked.  We still have a liberal return policy, but there are some qualifications on that policy.  For instance, just sending the product back without any prior communication is not acceptable.  Ordering a battery charger to check to see if your old one is really bad or the problem is somewhere else, with plans to return the new charger is not acceptable.  Most questions about whether the charger is the right one for your use can be worked out in advance before the purchase.  If you need more information about our products, you can call me at 479-967-1542.

Make like a tree and Leaf: We drive Nissan's coming electric vehicle

Sat, 14 Nov 2009

From behind the wheel, the production version of the Nissan Leaf electric car is smooth, silent, feels nearly friction free and offers all the prodigious torque inherent in an electric car. That's what we found after a short drive around Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Friday. The body you see in the photo is a Versa.

McLaren P1 bare carbon fibre option

Tue, 11 Jun 2013

McLaren are considering a full bare carbon fibre option for the P1 (pictured) With the McLaren P1 now getting close to hitting the road as a customer car (and arriving at Goodwood on the move in July), the lucky few with pockets deep enough to buy a car that will cost them pushing on £1 million are busy poring over the options for the P1. We spoke to one such customer over the weekend who was busy deciding which boxes to tick on the P1 spec sheet, and he was under the impression that McLaren were offering a full bare carbon fibre option for the P1, and at no cost. Which didn’t sound right.
