242 J Jeep transfer case heavy duty (4 pinion) planet carrier in excellent condition from low mileage case disassembled for parts.  Comes complete with thrust washers (etc.) as shown.  (Orange tint at base of planet gears in file photo is normal, harmless metal discoloration... not rust or dirt.)  BUYER MUST NOTIFY US OF YEAR WHEN PURCHASING.

Chevrolet Suburban turns 75

The Chevrolet Suburban, the longest-running nameplate in the auto industry, turned 75 this year, and Chevy held a little birthday party on Detroit's Belle Isle on Tuesday. The General Motors division brought some classics for us to ogle and drive, from a 1935 to the 2010 Diamond Edition. Through the early 1930s, automakers were offering car-based wagons.

We’ve got specifications of the new McLaren F1 (P12) which appear to confirm our earlier reports on its power and performance. Update: It seems the source of this story – an article on Jalopnik – was actually based on a spoof. So all we have is a mish-mash of best guesses and speculation and no new facts at all (see comments at the bottom).

Is this the Citroen DS9 and not the DS6? The new range-topping Citroen DS (which is probably the Citroen DS9) has been photographed undisguised in Paris. Just a few days ago we published a tease photo for a new DS Citroen, which we expected to be the new DS6.
