New Subaru Legacy production version teased for Chicago Auto Show
Thu, 30 Jan 2014The new Subaru Legacy is being teased Subaru have moved quickly from showing a concept version of an all new Legacy at the Los Angeles Auto Show, with the first tease for the new Legacy revealed ahead of a debut at the Chicago Auto Show in a week’s time. Looking at the tease (above) it does seem to have a very similar shape to the concept version we saw at Los Angeles,. But if Subaru’s recent form is anything to go by, the production Legacy will be far less impressive than the concept.
Peugeot 2008: Official
Mon, 07 Jan 2013The crossover / SUV version of the new Peugeot 208 – the Peugeot 2008 – has been revealed officially by Peugeot ahead of a Geneva 2013 debut. But the first official details from Peugeot of the production version of the 2008 tell us nothing more than we reported on Saturday when we got the first photos. Peugeot are long on how they’ve drawn on the 3008 Crossover (a better car than you’d expect) to create a B Segment Crossover that will take the fight to everything from the Countryman to the Juke, but very short on any real detail.

Tue, 01 Feb 2011Dr Wolfgang Durheimer starts his new job today; previously Porsche’s R&D chief, Dr Durheimer takes up his post as boss of Bentley and Bugatti on 1 February 2011. Just before he left Porsche, CAR caught up with Dr Durheimer to discover the future he’s leaving behind at the German sports car manufacturer. Dr Durheimer begain his career in the auto industry in 1986, working for BMW as a product manager, product development boss for the Motorrad division, and then as R&D boss.
