REVOLUTIONARY DOUBLE HINGE SYSTEM

The new system of plastic hatches features two important and innovative improvements compared to similar products on the current market.
All hatches currently sold on the market are fabricated with plastic hinges integrated in the hatch’s frame. This means that if the hatch cover needed replacement it would be necessary to
dismount the entire boat frame, a strenuous if not impossible task due to the fact that the frame is glued to the boat with particularly strong adhesives.  With our patented system, the cover of the hatch can be dismounted and replaced simply by removing 3 screws, even if only for purely aesthetic reasons. Another revolutionary system allows for the cover to be completely removed from its housing/frame at an opening angle that spans between 5° and 75°. This solution is particularly appealing to manufacturers and end users of boats that have the driving/steering console very close to the driver’s seat. With this configuration it can be troublesome to open the hatch during navigation since the driver himself is obstructing the hatch door opening.

Bentley returns to racing with Continental GT3 (2012)

Wed, 26 Sep 2012

Think of Bentley and you might immediately imagine weighty, vaguely sporting luxury cars. Think racing and Bentley, and a 1920’s Blower Bentley pounding around Brooklands might pop into your head. But Bentley is going to try and change that, taking the brand back to the race track with the new Continental GT3 racing car.

Mercedes-Benz introduces nine-speed automatic gearbox

Mon, 22 Jul 2013

Mercedes-Benz has quietly slipped a new nine-speed automatic into its lineup as standard equipment on the European market E350 BlueTec. The new in-house produced unit, known internally under the name 9G-Tronic, has long been slated for selected Mercedes-Benz models. However, its existence was officially denied until the weekend, when Mercedes-Benz's German language website configurator went live with various updates for the E-class lineup -- including an entry signaling the 9G-Tronic is now available on the standard rear-wheel drive E350 BlueTec in place of the older seven-speed.

Nissan backs radical DeltaWing racecar program

Wed, 14 Mar 2012

Nissan has announced its involvement in a radical new motorsport project, dubbed the DeltaWing, which will race at the Le Mans 24 Hours this summer using Nissan power. The car is the work of Ben Bowlby who originally designed the car as a proposal for the 2012 IndyCar racer, which has since found the attention of Nissan after its rejection by the American race championship. The headlines of the design are that it's half the weight and has half the aerodynamic drag of a conventional racer and is therefore far more efficient.
