OnStar to test Family Link vehicle-tracking system with subscriber pilot program
Mon, 01 Aug 2011OnStar is launching a pilot program for a new Family Link system that will let subscribers track their vehicle's location on a Web site. The pilot program will gauge customer interest in Family Link. The service allows the subscriber to log in to the system and view a map with the vehicle's exact location at any time.

Mon, 22 Jul 2013The Porsche Macan (pictured) starts production in December with a bolder look It does seem that the baby Cayenne – the new, Audi Q5 based Porsche Macan – has been on its way for a while, but Porsche has now confirmed production will start in December, with first Macans hitting Porsche showrooms in early 2014. But despite the Macan having been spied many times, seemingly almost undisguised, we really don’t know what it will look like. That’s because Porsche’s man in charge of the design of the Macan - Michael Mauer – has admitted that Porsche has had to go back to the drawing board with the Macan to try and address its design in light of the huge success of the Range Rover Evoque.
Land Rover start tease for new Range Rover Sport

In the last couple of years we’ve had two of the new Land Rover products hit showrooms – the Range Rover Evoque and the 2013 Range Rover – to almost universal praise and big queues around the world as car buyers clamour for Land Rover’s latest new toys. The next instalment in Land Rover’s new model assault is the arrival of the 2014 Range Rover Sport, a car that combines elements of both the new Range Rover and Evoque as Land Rover conspire to make the new RRS the car it should always have been.
