Toyota Prius T Spirit Review & Road Test (2010) Part 3
Sun, 12 Dec 2010The Toyota Prius acquitted itself well in the snow - once we'd dug it out. It seems to us that the Prius is a mode of transport, not a car in the sense we enjoy a car. It’s not about feeding sensations back to the driver or a beautifully balanced chassis or an interior to die for or a design that makes little butterflies flutter in the pit of your stomach.
McLaren MP4-12C: The build begins +video
Wed, 02 Feb 2011First McLaren MP4-12C being built You could be forgiven for thinking that McLaren had already started building their Ferrari 458 challenging car – the McLaren MP4-12C. After all, it’s been turning up all over the place for at least a year, and we even had a good view of the Volcano Orange MP4-12C from Goodwood as it passed us en-route to strut its stuff up the Goodwood Hillclimb last year. BMW 640d xDrive announced
Fri, 24 Feb 2012On Thursday, Greg Kable waxed effusively about the new BMW M550d xDrive coupe, suggesting that it was the ultimate 5-series for everyday use. On Friday, Munich announced that the 5's two-door sibling will receive an AWD diesel variant: the 640d xDrive. While not quite as high-zoot as the 5-series' top oil burner, the 640d's 3.0-liter, twin-turbo straight-six cranks out a respectable 465 lb-ft of almighty torque between 1,500 rpm and 2,500 rpm, plus 313 hp at 4,400 rpm—numbers that, according to BMW, will carry the 6-series to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds.
